BE A GOOD SPORT…IN LIFE!
Athletic competition does not just build an athlete, it builds character. By learning the rules and regulations of a sport, you can learn to play the game. But what is taken away from the game is an understanding of team building, fair play, hard work and always most importantly, FUN! That is what matters in the end.
Sports take you through many ebbs and flows, just like the game of life does. What is taken away from the experience of competition is a sense of completion and pride. An understanding of how to work in a group, may it be on the field, in the classroom or in a relationship. Athletics teach one to be fair and show respect. Respect must be earned in sports, and it is no different in the real world. Effort is a component needed in all sports in order to succeed – just as it is in life.
No matter the circumstance, always have fun. If you can have fun and smile, success is sure to come. So be a good sport, and follow blue’s guidelines to success!

Effort: The use of physical or mental energy to do something; exertion.
What you put into something is what you will get out of it.
The more effort, the better the results.
Take competition seriously, but most importantly…HAVE FUN!
